Pulp Fiction Writing Competition
Artwork for Pulp Fiction contest was created by Frank Stone, local artist.
The winners of the Pulp Fiction Writing Competition were announced at the Big Read Kick-Off April 13. Congratulations to Carrie Cornelison for her story "Right Up My Alley" winning first place and Israel Ramirez for his story "The Pooch, the Professor, the P.I. and the Pre-Columbian Popsicle," winning second prize. The writing competition is a collaboration between Stockton-San Joaquin Public Library and the Stockton Arts Commission celebrating The Big Read, April 13-May 30, 2008. For information, call 209-937-7778.
